The Training Centre is located in Teya-teyaneng in the Berea District, 38 km from Maseru, the capital city of Lesotho.
The Centre offers technical training for the labour force and management training for professionals in the roads sub-sector. The Training Centre runs training programmes for contractors and their staff in labour-based work relating to road maintenance and rehabilitation, road construction as well as upgrading.
The Centre also offers lodging and conference facilities in a tranquil atmosphere at affordable prices.
The Centre was established in 1992 through funding from the Swedish Government. To meet the rising need for training of contractors, the Centre facilities were extended with funding by the World Bank in 1998.
