Roads Directorate has secured funding to address the emergency road and infrastructure damages that have happened across the country. In the light of that, the Directorate has established a Rapid Response Unit, which will be a mobile team employed to work on various emergency works to complement the existing RD personnel and the outsourced work to the contractors. The team will be assembled on specific identified areas and demobilize after completion of the works to move to other areas as deemed critical. The Directorate therefore calls for applications from interested candidates to work in the Rapid Response Unit. The contract period for this position will run from April 2024-31st March 2025.
